The Sympathetic Resonator consists of eight physically modeled strings (nylon to steel), a Sitar Bridge, and other added features. The modeled guitar can be played through the string resonator, or the string resonator can be enabled to a self-droning mode. All of GeoShred's tuning systems are supported for the Sympathetic Resonator.
Parameters:
General Group
Enable
Enable is used to turn on/off the Sympathetic Resonator Effect.
Bypass
Bypass is used to bypass sending the input to the resonator, effectively placing the input and the resonator in parallel. A common way to use this would be to place the resonator in self-droning mode, but bypass running the input signal through the droner to allow performing "with" the droner rather than "through" the droner.

Sets the level of the input signal to the resonator
Out
Sets the level of the out signal from the resonator
Wet
Sets the mix between the input signal and the resonated signal.
Strings Group
Decay
String Decay Time in seconds when the string is excited. This is the T60 for the guitar strings (time to decay by 60 dB after being plucked). Crank it up for more sustain!
Material
The Material parameter varies the brightness and decay time of the string, ranging from nylon strings to steel strings.
Stiffness
Zero Stiffness results in harmonic overtones. Increasing Stiffness results in a stretched overtone series. That is, the fundamental frequency remains fixed while all higher partial overtones go up in frequency.
Pick Position
The Pick Position is where each string is being plucked along its length. Plucking right at the Bridge produces no sound because the Bridge does not move much, so keep Pick Position greater than zero to obtain sound output. Plucking at the Middle of the string suppresses all even harmonics, producing a characteristic clarinet-like or square-wave-like tone (only odd harmonics).

Enable
The Sitar is a South Asian lead stringed-instrument. Its bridge (Jivari) uses a different kind of nonlinearity caused by curving the bridge parabolically, so that the string length is modulated continuously over a portion of its vibration cycle.
