Parameter Smoothing
The Guitar and its Effects have manipulable Parameters for getting different sounds. Sometimes we need to modify a Parameter during a performance by assigning it to a Controller on the Control Surface. (Select Main Menu > Control Surface, and hit '?', to learn how to do this.)
A Smoothed Parameter is updated every audio sample. When not smoothed, it is updated every audio buffer (typically 256 samples, but longer on older devices). The classic symptom of missing Parameter Smoothing is "zipper noise" as the parameter is changed by a Slider or Knob.
When Parameter Smoothing is available, we say the Parameter is performable. The amount of Smoothing is called T60, which is essentially the smoothing time in seconds.
