The Show Trace Menu command is used to bring up a diagnostic window that can be used to trace internal control events as well as MIDI IN/OUT events. Trace also provides an basic audio level meter useful for setting Amplifier/Preset Volume, the presets final volume. Trace also provides a minimal recording button helpful for recording when voicing a preset. The recording can be pulled from GeoShred using iTunes File Sharing
Levels is used to turn on a basic audio level meter useful for setting Amplifier/Preset Volume, which is the final volume of a preset. Levels also displays a Peak audio level in db.

Copy can be used to copy the contents of the trace window in the the paste buffer. This copy of the trace window can be pasted in a text document or even and email for offline analysis.
Clears the contents of the trace window.
Options is used to configure the details of what is traced. Many detailed event entities can be traced including specific internal parameter events, specific MIDI messages, memory utilization. The Reset button found on the options inspector can be used to turn off all tracing.
